In he 200mm Nitro touring class Taki Dermatis was top Qualifier with Christian Fourie 
2nd...  All drivers enjoyed the 10 minute qualifying format.  The rest would run semi
finals to see who would race in the gruling 45 minute final.
Henri Kotze took the lead early on and led throughout the tough race in very hot
conditions.  Taki claimed 2nd, with Christian in 3rd.

The 1 hour 1/8th Final was highlight of the day.  Most drivers did tyre changes at the
halfway mark.  With Top qualifier Wayne Joelson & Jacques Libenberg having an early
battle, with Hein Kotze close behind.  Jacque had mechanical problems allowing Wayne
to cruise to victory.
